Jaipur: A special team of CID arrested a man, suspected to be a Pakistani spy, from Chatargarh in Bikaner near Indo-Pakistan border.

The accused, identified as Ali, was apprehended by the team on the ground of passing crucial information to Pakistan’s intelligence agency to Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). He was later taken to Jaipur.

Investigations revealed that the accused had paid Rs 1200 to a broker for his passport which he used to get in and out of the country. During this period, he was allegedly in touch with Pakistan’s ISI.

The CID has recovered important documents and a Pakistani mobile from his possession. He is suspected of providing secret information about the bordering areas to the neighbouring country’s intelligence agency, ISI.

The spy reportedly was in contact with the state police officers though the administration refuses to confirm this.
