RES has placed an order for 28.7 MW wind plant, Suzlon said in a statement on Monday.
Besides, John Laing has given a contract for 14.35 MW project, InfraRed Capital Partners (10.2 MW) and Broadview Energy (10.25 MW).
 The last three are repeat orders, the statement said. These orders would be worth more than Rs 420 crore, according to sources.
The cost for setting up 1 MW wind power generation capacity is estimated to be Rs 6-7 crore. "We are delighted to be signing a further four turbine contracts in the UK, including our first contract from RES. This caps off what has been a highly successful year for Senvion in the UK, having signed contracts worth nearly 250 MW since January," Senvion SE's CEO Andreas Nauen said.
