Chennai: With ISRO successfully launching its 100th mission, Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah on Sunday congratulated top scientists for their feat.

The nation feels pride in launching its 100th space mission with the indigenous PSLV-C21, Rosaiah said in a Raj Bhavan release.

"Once again we have proved that India is all set to become a superpower and 21st century is ours", he said.

"I congratulate K Radhakrishnan, Chairman, ISRO, the dedicated team of scientists and all those who have made the historic mission a successful one", he said.

Earlier, Rosaiah welcomed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the airport in Chennai on his return from Sriharikota and congratulated him for ISRO's creditable achievement in the successful launch of PSLV-C21, the release said.

ISRO successfully launched its 100th space mission with the indigenous rocket putting in orbit two foreign satellites from the spaceport of Sriharikota.
