Chennai: The directorate of government examinations in Tamil Nadu announced the SSLC class X results on Monday.

Over 11 lakh students have appeared for the state board out of which 86 percent managed to clear the examination with flying colours.

The students can access their results on tnresults.nic.in. The students who appeared in the examination are required to enter their registration numbers followed by their registered date of birth.

As per the released results, Tanjavur student, Srinath, topped the exams with a brilliant score of 497 out of 500 whereas six students secured second position and 11 shared the third spot.

The girls have outshined in the state board examination with nearly 89 percent of them managed to perform well in it. On the other hand 84 percent of boys cleared the exams even as there was a sharp dip in number of students scoring centum in Maths, coming down from around 12000 to around 1100 this time.

The results that usually come by May-mid, have been announced late this year due to a political controversy following a regime change in the state and was implemented after the court’s intervention, resulting in alleged delay in distribution of instruction material.

Jagran Post wishes the students “All The Best”.
