Domestic sales of Tata Motors' commercial and passenger vehicles grew by 2 percent at 47,044  units against 45,996 units in March 2014, Tata Motors said in a BSE filing.
Sales of passenger vehicles in the domestic market in March stood at 15,039 units, up 19 per cent, from 12,640 units in March 2014.
"The growth trend in passenger vehicles continued with the strong Zest and Bolt sales," the company said.
In the commercial vehicles segment, domestic sales were 32,005 units during the month, down 4 per cent, from year-ago period, it added.
Exports during the month stood at 5,435 units, up 5 percent against 5,188 units in the year-ago month.
Cumulative sales (including exports) for the company for FY14-15 were 5,02,281 units, down by 11 per cent over 5,66,695 vehicles, sold last year.
