Kolkata: Automobile major Tata Motors will decide its next course of action after studying the Calcutta High Court judgment that declared the Singur land act as valid and constitutional, a company spokesman said on Wednesday.

Reacting to the verdict of Justice Indra Prasanna Mukherjee rejecting the automaker's plea challenging the legislation, the company said in a statement that it had learnt of the ruling.

“We have learnt of the Calcutta High Court's ruling on the Singur Land Rehabilitation & Development Act 2011. The company will study the judgment and decide its next course of action,” said Debasis Ray, Tata Motors' head of corporate communications.
