The AMT aka Automated Manual Transmission is the same set of gearbox working in Maruti Celerio and Alto K10 hatchbacks developed by Magnetti Marelli.

On the exterior front, the AMT version will feature set of headlight cluster, honeycomb grille and revamped bumpers while inside the car, Tata is likely to adopt the power steering feature (EPAS) and other minor alterations. It would get power from the same 625cc 2-cylinder engine that produces 37.5bhp and peak torque rated at 51Nm.

The company has been updating the car from quite sometime as it failed to draw expected sales number since it was first launched. But now it  has been making amendments with the passage of time.
