New Delhi: In order to reach out to the rural population, Team Anna has now started to delve into the issues related to farmers. They are also planning to connect with the people at the grassroot level through education. (JPN/ Bureau)
Anna and his team, who are getting the support from the political leaders in Bihar and Andhra Pradesh, are also trying to stay connected with those who are on the verge of withdrawing themselves from the movement.
After holding rallies in different parts of the national capital for the past three days, they have finally settled down in Ramlila ground to carry forward their march. To make the masses stay connected with them for the next 11 days and to continue their war against the corruption and the Central government will prove to be a tough task for Anna and his team.
In a bid to keep the movement going and garner more support, various speakers including Anna have started raising the issue of farmers. In doing so they did not even budge from targeting Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar.
Consequently people are being continuously apprised of the fact that the protest is not just for Jan Lokpal but also for every reason which has hitherto abstained the farmers and the poor from getting their rights. They also raised the issue of land acquisition along with the issue of determining the value of grain.
On the other hand, the ocean of supporters was informed about the matters which were politically correct. They were told the Bihar government requested Anna to formulate the set of rules for the Lokayukta and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has promised to support the cause.
Amidst all these, the youths were constantly reminded of their power and how indispensable their support was for the Jan Lokpal Bill.
