Indore: A Mumbai-bound Kingfisher Airlines plane with 85 passengers on board was on Wednesday forced to abort its scheduled departure due to a technical snag at the Devi Ahilyabai airport here.

Kingfisher flight IT-3146 was preparing for departure from here around 0825 hours when the commander received an alert from one of the engines. The engineering team checked the aircraft and rectified the problem, the airline spokesperson told a news agency in Mumbai.

The plane, later took off with 85 passengers and six crew members at 1102 hours, the spokesperson said.
