"If on the basis of few criminal incidents there is jungle raj in Bihar, then it could be said that 'jungle raj or Aatank Raj' (rule of terror) prevails in the country," Tejaswi Yadav, son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, said on his facebook account.

"What is the crime rate in Delhi where law and order is under the central government? It is not hidden from anybody," he cited adding if the opposition needed he could provide the crime data on the same.

Tejaswi Yadav's comment came a day after Union Minister and LJP chief Ramvilas Paswan attacked the state government over few deaths, including those of engineers in Darbhanga by claiming "jungle raj-2" had returned to Bihar.

"BJP cannot coin definition of jungle raj as per their own convenience. Days of negative politics are over,” he added.
