Chennai (Jagran Post Network): Ahead of the warm-up game against New Zealand on Wednesday, India skipper MS Dhoni has confirmed master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who did not play in India's first warm-up game against Australia, will surely take the field this time around.

However, he ruled out any possibility of India's premier pacer Zaheer Khan playing in the tie against the kiwis.

Sachin and Zaheer both were rested for the game against Australia.

"Sachin will play the warm-up game against New Zealand but Zaheer will again be rested for this game too and he will play his first game on saturday against Bangladesh."

Dhoni said the players are being rested not of fatigue but as a process of mental prepation and mindset.

He admitted that Team India need to pick up intestity on the field as the tournament will get tougher and more competetive.

Dhoni declared the conditions, pitch and the due factor will determine the look of the team and said the best possible XI will be picked.
