Mumbai: India’s run machine Sachin Tendulkar has expressed his desire to continue playing cricket even after 2015 World Cup.
“I am ready to play the next cricket world cup 2015. I hope I can play cricket for the next five to six years,” the 39-year-old Master blaster recently said, during the launch of BMW- 3 series cars in Mumbai.
The cricket sensation has made it clear that he has no intention to retire from first class cricket now and is willing to keep his association with the game at-least for the next five –six years. He cannot even think about his life without the game.
If he has a craze for anything other than cricket that is his car. Remarkably, Sachin has a craze for the game of cricket since his childhood days. During his tender age he used to gaze at cars running on the city roads from his balcony, he said.
When asked to comment on his post cricket career he declined to say anything. He further said that he would be in a situation to say anything about this only after five to six years.
“When I would feel that Iam distancing myself from the game, I would like to focus more and more on it,” Sachin said.
Remarkably Sachin has also disclosed recently during the launch of BMW- 3 series cars in Mumbai that he has a passion for cars. Interestingly, he bought a BMW car in 1993 at the of 20, when he had completed four years into his international career.
He said that Marut - 800 was his first among the fleet of cars and later he went on to purchase Maruti- 1000 and 2nd hand BMW cars at the tender age of 21.
