New Delhi: It all started with - He will do it…, now people have started asking - When will he do it…

It’s been approximately one year during which he played 11 Tests and 21 innings but still hasn’t been able to get over the line.

The swashbuckling batting maestro, popularly known as the “GOD of cricket” in India has left no stone unturned in his 20-year long career to achieve the unbelievable.

Just 5 feet and 5 inches tall, Little Master is the most feared batsmen among the bowlers.

Be it Test or One-day Internationals you will find his name at the top of record books. He is arguably the best batsman that the cricketing world has ever seen.

The 38-year old, Sachin Tendulkar is on the threshold of his 100th international century and will be looking to reach the much awaited mile stone in the One-day tri-series in Australia.

The little master has scored 99 international centuries in both Test and One-Day formats of the game. Sachin scored his last century against South Africa in the world cup at Nagpur on March 12, 2011.

Since the World Cup the One-day tri-series in Australia is Sachin’s first.

In the three of the four matches he played in the ongoing tri-series, one against Australia and two against Sri Lanka he scored 2, 48 and 15 runs respectively.

While playing against Sri Lanka Sachin Tendulkar appeared in splendid form and it appeared that he would finally complete his historic 100th international century before he tried to cut a delivery from Angelo Mathews that was too close to his body and dragged the ball on to his stumps.

With six more matches to go in the tri-series before the best of three finals, he will get six opportunities to achieve his target.

During the ongoing tour there are times when while batting the little master looks in complete command and draws attention towards his classic strokes.

He really has to get past this milestone as it will not only instill greater confidence in his abilities but will also thrill the fans across the world who look upto him as a role model.
