London: Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner feels happy to be saved from a ruined marriage after his fiancé Crystal Harris backed out of the nuptials at the last moment. Hefner says he is not heartbroken as the worst happened before marriage.

The 85-year-old mogul was scheduled to tie the knot with Crystal Harris on June 18, but the wedding was called off by his fiancé just days before.

The business tycoon, who insists not having any clue about Harris' back out, felt relieved that the worst things got over before the marriage, as reported.

"Crystal did an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Thursday morning to explain everything, but I still don't have a clue.” “I didn't see any of this coming, but I'm glad things went wrong before the marriage instead of after. Live & learn," wrote Hefner on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Harris, 25, who had suddenly withdrawn from the much-awaited wedding, however wants to maintain healthy terms with the publishing king.

"I called it off because I didn't think it was the right thing for me to do. For a while I've been having second thoughts about everything. I haven't really been at peace with myself lately. I didn't think it was really fair to him," said Harris on Ryan Seacrest's American radio show.
