Story: 'Dil Vil Pyar Vyar' and 'Dil Maange More’ fame director Anant Mahadevan directed the film 'The Xpose' which is a musical-thriller set in the 60s.

The film begins with murder of a famous actress Zara (Sonali Raut), while there is no eye witness to this mysterious killing.  Ravi Kumar (Himesh) starts investigating the brutal murder. Cop-turned-South Indian superstar Ravi makes Bollybood debut in the movies. The character of Himesh is inspired by Raj Kumar.

Simultaneously a love story is also brewing between Ravi and Chandini (Zoya Afroz) who plays Zara’s arch rival in the film and a lead suspect in her murder case.

Himesh is a star who sings, dances and raises a toast like Jay Gatsby. He’s also like a Sherlock Holmes as he solves the case.

Honey Singh (as music director Kenny Damania) gets a fair amount of screen time. Honey, who also marks his Bollywood debut, plays a philandering husband and successful music composer. Honey overshadows Himesh in essaying roles.

Review:
'The Xpose' explores the complex characters, the inner workings and the dark truths of a glamorous world.

Himesh, apart from his drastic weight loss, has tried his utmost to get his act in place including mouthing some profound dialogues.

Said to be inspired by real incidents in 1960s Hindi film industry, The Xpose celebrates the cinema of the decade with references to Teesri Manzil, Johnny Tera Naam and Satyam Shivam Sundaram.

It will be a joy ride seeing the two musical maestros Himesh Reshammiya and Yo Yo Honey Singh sharing the screenspace.
