Five people, including a nurse, were killed in separate accidents in dense fog in Mathura, police said.
    
In Azamgarh, one person was killed and 20 were injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in Tarwan area early this morning.
       
The dead was truck driver Ram Awdh Yadav, aged 40, police said, adding the accident happened in thick fog.
      
Twenty bus passengers were also injured, they said. Another road mishap took place on Monday evening on Meerut-Karnal highway which was engulfed in fog.
    
Pritam Singh was killed when the motorcycle he was riding fell into Khokni river, police said.
    
In another accident, four persons were seriously injured when the tractor they were travelling in collided with a truck on Delhi-Pauri highway.
