"Those opposing Narendra Modi are looking at Pakistan, and such people will have place in Pakistan and not in India," Singh told a poll meeting at Mohanpur Haat Maidan near the temple town Deogarh on Friday.

Attacking the Congress-led UPA government, Singh said, "The Central government gives subsidy to those who export beef and not to those rearing cows."

Earlier BJP prime ministerial candidate’s close aide Amit Shah had landed in a major controversy for his remarks that the Lok Sabha elections was an opportunity to seek ‘revenge for the insult’ inflicted during the riots in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh last year.

The Election Commission had last week cracked the whip on Shah by banning him from holding public meetings, processions or roadshows in Uttar Pradesh and asked the authorities to initiate criminal proceedings against the BJP leader.

However, the Election Commission lifted its ban on his participation in Lok Sabha poll campaign in Uttar Pradesh after he assured the poll body that he would not disturb the public tranquility and law and order.
