Bhopal: The police on Sunday lodged cases against thousands of people who ran amok on the anniversary of on 27th anniversary of 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy.

Thousands of protestors were charged under Railways Act for disrupting the rail services, destroying public properties and interrupting the government services following the demonstration.

According to police, 14 protestors have been arrested so far.

Sources said, the police are using video footages available with the media houses to nab the law breakers.

The procession was called in the state capital in the remembrance of the 27th anniversary of Bhopal Tragedy. Soon the demonstration turned violent claiming loss of public property to the tune of Rs 30 crore.
