Raxaul (East Champaran): Busting a big racket of fake Indian currency, a special squad of Napal Police arrested three persons from a hotel on Sunday. Nepal Police control room confirmed the arrest.

Nepal Police sources said, “Under a special drive, fake Indian currency worth Rs 1.25 crore comprising 500 and 1000 notes was recovered from the possession of the culprits.”

Nepalese Intelligence Branch had information that fake Indian currency reached Nepal.

Special team of Nepal Police trailed one suspect from Philippines. The squad of anti-terrorist cell with the help of Kalimati Police Station nabbed Philippine citizen, on whose tip off the team managed to arrest West Chamaparan resident Nasim Alam and Nepalese citizen Dikbahadur Shrestha from a Hotel Solty.
