Jaipur: Three IAS officers have been charged for getting their jobs on the basis of fake caste certificate. Presently, one of them is posted in Rajasthan, and the two others are in Delhi and Bihar respectively. Social activist Tauhid Hussain and Advocate Madhusudan Sharma have filed a case against them.

Chandramohan Meena, Jayram Lal Meena and Prabhudayal Meena are brothers and they cracked UPSC exams and became 1980 batch IAS. Chandramohan is Chief Secretary at Rajasthan’s General Administration Department, Jayram Lal Meena is posted in Bihar and Prabhudayal Meena in Delhi.

“Three of them have submitted fake caste certificates with the UPSC form …”, Tauhid Hussain and Madhusudan Sharma claimed.

Hussain has also given the copy of UPSC form filled by them in 1979 and other documents on an RTI application.

According to the date of birth certificates submitted by Chandramohan Meena (11th April 1954) and Jayram Lal Meen(23rd April 1954), the age difference between the two siblings is just of 12 days.

Chandramohan, while denying all the above charges, said, “When I filled the UPSC form in 1979 the photocopy facility was not available at the time. So, the original caste certificate is with me… The original one have the authority’s signature and stamp”, he said.

He also claimed that his other brother, with whom his age difference is just 12 days, is his step brother.
“I and Ramlal are step brothers so 12 days difference between our ages could be possible,” he added.
