The Maoists were nabbed in Murmekhla forest area under the Gumla Police Station limits.

Gumla Superintendent of Police Bhim Sen Tuti said the operations took place after they received secret information from the villagers. The police also recovered three country-made rifles from the house of a resident in that area.

“Based on the secret information we received last night, we arrested three Maoists belonging to the PLFI outfit from Murmekhla forest which falls under the Gumla police station limits,” Bhim Sen said.

The police also reported of recovering three country-made rifles from the house of a resident in that area.
“In the same village, at the house of a resident, the police successfully recovered three country-made rifles and ammunition,” Bhim Sen added.
