Nawada: A court in Bihar's Nawada district on Friday sentenced three persons to life imprisonment and fined them in a murder case seven years ago.

The Fast Track Court-II judge Vikram Singh convicted Vishnudev Ravidas, Sharan Chauhan and Ashok Paswan and fined them to lifer and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 each after finding them guilty in the murder of Ramchandra Yadav.

According to prosecution, the three had slit the throat of the victim and dumped the body in a field in Indaul village under Akbarpur police station area on November 29, 2006.

Yadav had protested the poor quality of raw material supplied by them for construction of road in the village.
