New Delhi: In what could bring a ray of hope for those suffering from cancer, a new technology called Flattering Filter Free (Three F) to treat patients is expected to be available in India soon.

The hi-tech technology which is efficient to kill cancer and tumour will be available in the country in two months. The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre has approved its use on the basis of clinical trials.

“This new facility will bring a revolutionary change in the treatment of cancer,” said experts.

Informing about this new technology, Professor GK Rath, chief of AIIMS' cancer centre, said if the trial goes well this new technology will be available in next two months.

This new technology will prove to be fruitful in radiation treatment of the cancer patients, he said.

“The new Three-F technology will enable us to kill cancer cells in effective manner,” he added.
