Dharamsala (HP): Tibetans in-exile attending a four-day special general meeting organised in Dharamsala by the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) on Thursday appealed to their spiritual leader Dalai Lama to visit his homeland in Tibet as the people there are awaiting his return.
The appeal was unanimously adopted by over 400 Tibetan delegates who gathered in Dharamsala for the special meeting, Secretary Information and International Relations Department of CTA Tashi said.
The appeal which was read out at the special meeting said, "Please make efforts to return to Tibet." It urged Tibetans in-exile to organise campaigns more aggressively to get international support.
