"When Rajiv Gandhi was Prime Minister he said that for every rupee sent from Delhi, only 15 paisa reached the common man. This was when the Congress ruled the country from panchayats to Parliament. Who was responsible for corruption then?" Modi said at an election rally here on Wednesday.

"You have defeated the party here. Now, it is time to bid goodbye to them at the Centre," he said.
