Kolkata: Following up on Mamata Banerjee's rally on October 1 in Delhi, the Trinamool Congress plans to hold a 48-hour dharna at Jantar Mantar from November 22 to ramp up its campaign against FDI in retail before the winter session of Parliament.

The details of the programme on the two days were being worked out, the party's all India party general secretary Mukul Roy said.

Asked whether the party chief would take part in the dharna, Roy, said "everything is not finalised yet."

The winter session of Parliament is considered significant as Mamata Banerjee after quitting the UPA, has threatened to bring a no-confidence motion against the Congress-led government at the Centre.

She had said that she might bring a no-confidence motion against the government in the next session of Parliament.
