“Everybody should keep in mind that without the support of majority, no one can come to power," he said.

“On the question of supporting any particular person, time has not yet come to announce it,” he added, when asked if the VHP would support Modi.

The VHP leader demanded that steps be taken to set up a Majority Financial Developmental Council on the lines of Minority Developmental Council and that provisions should be made for providing school fees to poor Hindu students.

"In this country, those who are minorities get all the facilities and the majority community is discriminated," he said.

Togadia further said the Central government should take steps to stop the attack on Hindus in Bangladesh.
