Los Angeles: Actor Tom Hardy's stocks have quickly risen up in Hollywood post "Inception". The actor, who plays Batman's enemy, is now set to star in a biker movie.

Hardy, who teamed up with Christopher Nolan after "Inception" to play villain Bane in "The Dark Knight Rises", will also produce the biker movie through his recently created company, Executive Options at Warner Bros.

The story revolves around a wounded Vietnem veteran who returns home to San Francisco just in time to see the flower power hippie movement at it strongest, with  anti-war protests hitting university campuses and streets. In that environment, he is reborn as the head of a violent biker gang, the Hollywood Reporter said.

The script is being written by Mark L Smith.

Hardy recently starred with Chris Pine and Reese Witherspoon in "This Means War".
