Sania Mirza:
Professional tennis player, Sania Mirza was ranked as India's No 1 tennis player by  Women's Tennis Association both in singles and doubles till the time she retired from singles in 2013. She has secured notable victories in the honour of the native country by defeating stalwarts such as Svetlana Kuznetsova, Marion Bartoli and Martina Hingis.

Jwala Gutta:
This left-handed international badminton player has won the National Badminton Championships fourteen times. She had partnered with Shruti Kurien and Ashwini Ponnappa and the pair has been ranked among the top 20 in the world. She has secured mass appreciation for the victories in doubles.

Sharmila Nicollet:
Sharmila Nicollet was born to a french father and Indian mother. At the age of 18, she appeared in  ''Ladies European Tour'' and was widely recognized as the youngest Indian female golfer to participate in the tour. She started playing golf at the age of 11 in 2002 and won her first tournament at the age of 15.

Saina Nehwal:

Saina Nehwal is the first Indian to win a medal for Badminton in Olympics by wining bronze at the London Olympics held in 2012. She was ranked No 2 in December 2010 by Badminton World Federation. And along with all the big achievements, she is the first Indian to win the  World Junior Badminton Championships.

Prachi Tehlan:
A basketball and netball player, Prachi Tehlan was the captain of  the Indian Netball Team in Commonwealth Games 2010 held in Delhi. She was titled as ''Queen of courts'' and ''Lass of the Rings''. Under her captaincy, India won its first medal in 1st South Asian Beach Games held at Hambantota.

Sunitha Rao:
A former tennis player Sunitha Rao is born to an Indian Couple staying in New Jersey, US. She had played various WTA events and acclaimed 8 career titles on the ITF Women's Ciruit.

Ashwini Ponappa:

Ashwini Ponnappa is a badminton player who represented India at the international badminton circuit. She has partnered with Jwala Gutta and the pair have won many medals in international events, won  gold medal at the Commonwealth Games and  historic bronze at World Championships. The pair have also been able to sustain the top 20th position in the rankings.

Dipika Pallikal:
Deepika Pallikal, wife of cricketer Dinesh Karthik, is a squash player, She is the first Indian woman attain position in the top 10 in the WSA rankings. Pallikal has 3 WISPA tour titles on her name and elevated herself on the career best ranking of 13.  The duo of Dipika Pallikal and Joshna Chinappa won gold medal in the squash women's doubles event at the 20th Commonwealth Games held in 2014.

Tania Sachdev:
Tania Sachdev is a chess player who won many titles at the very young age. She is one of the only 8 indians who have won Chess Grandmaster tournament. She was introduced to the game by her father and her parents provided her professional training. She achieved her first international title at the age of 8.

Neha Uberoi:
Neha Uberoi, is the younger sister of Shikha Uberoi,  who had bagged silver medal in partnership with  Sania Mirza at the 2006 Doha Asian Games. She is related to the Oberois of Bollywood. She is the niece of thespian Suresh Oberoi and cousin to Bollywood actor, Vivek Oberoi. Her father Mahesh was  also a tennis player.
