The company, which currently has a six per cent share, today unveiled two new multi-function printers (MFPs) that allows both A3 and A4 printing, priced Rs 35,000 onwards.

"While the Indian customer is price conscious, he is also value conscious and what is important is also the total cost of ownership," Toshiba TEC Corporation Chief Marketing
Executive Isao Sugehara stated.

With the new printers and the line up that Toshiba plans ahead, the company aims to take its share to 15 percent from the current six per cent by 2017-end, he added.

Sugehara said the Indian A3 printer market size in the country is about 1.2 lakh units, while that of A4 is 3-5 times that size
