Modi said, “Time has come to take tough decisions in the interest of the nation. Whatever decisions we take will be solely guided by national interest,” said Modi after an interaction with the BJP workers in Goa.
The Prime Minister exhorted his party members to come together and work towards success.
“Told Karyakartas that we should create an Organisation where every person feels- yes there is a place for me here. That will be our success,” he wrote on micro-blogging website Twitter.
The national economy has cut a sorry figure for the past one and half decade and several burning issues like stagnation in employment generation, value of rupee against foreign currencies, slow industrial growth impeded the development process to a considerable extent.
The previous UPA government drew immense flak over its approach in economic overhaul and ever since Modi-led NDA government took charge at the Centre, there has been an air of excitement as well as expectation in the commerce and business sector.
Earlier in the day, Modi dedicated INS Vikramaditya, the largest and most powerful aircraft carrier to be ever inducted into the Indian Navy, to the nation, terming it an ‘important day for our nation’.
