The 11th-generation Corolla Altis has been designed to keep up with the time and addition value, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Managing Director Naomi Ishii said at the 12th Auto Expo in Greater Noida.
The company has also opened bookings for the new model on Wednesday. The price will be revealed in May, when sales are launched and deliveries start, he said. The price of the current model starts at about Rs 11 lakh.
The sedan, which is Toyota's No 1 selling car globally, is available in diesel and petrol variants.
The new model has advanced exteriors and interiors, new alloy wheels, push start/stop button and rear reclining seats with more leg space, he said.
