London: Playground games such as hopscotch and leapfrog are on the verge of dying out, a study has found. Although 93 per cent of parents played such games in their youth, 27 per cent of children today never have.

Most people want their children to have similar childhood experiences as their own. But a poll of 1,000 parents by supermarket Morrisons revealed that 17 per cent do not feel confident teaching the old games, a daily reported.
