"Traffic has eased comparatively but five-seven km long stretch is still affected. Vehicles on way to Jaipur from Delhi are passing through service lane whereas traffic coming from Jaipur has been diverted through Virat Nagar and Alwar," SP Jaipur (Rural) Bahadur Singh said.

Singh said one lane of the flyover was made partially open for light vehicles coming from Jaipur side and the main traffic and heavy vehicles have been diverted.
District Collector Krishna Kunal said the traffic was moving slowly but not stranded. He informed that Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Krishna Pal is scheduled to visit the affected area and the flyover this evening.

Additional policemen have been deployed in the area to regulate the traffic.
The traffic was affected on Monday after cracks were seen in the bridge following which the diversion was made.
