New Delhi: From Mamata didi to Mamata madam. West Bengal may witness the transformation very soon if Trinamool Congress registers a win in the ongoing Assembly elections. In a bid to dispel her anti-industry image and to shoot down the questions being raised over her administrative skills, Mamata Banerjee is planning to impart management lessons to Trinamool leaders who are likely to take over as her cabinet colleagues in West Bengal.

If the result on May 13 favours Trinamool-Congress alliance, party leaders would be trained in IIM-Kozhikode. The party chief seeks to give a high profile Cabinet to the state.

According to reports, Trinamool party leaders will get training of good governance and new era economic management in the well-acclaimed business school.

Mamata Banerjee has already held discussion in that regard with Debashish Chatterjee, Director of IIM Kozhikode, sources said.
Though Trinamool leaders have refused to speak on the matter, the Director of IIM Kozhikode has confirmed that the party has discussed the issue with him.

Earlier, former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav too had sought training from IIM in a bid to transform his image. Cabinet members of Narendra Modi government have also taken classes from IIM-A in the past.
