At 09:30 am; TVS Motor Company was trading 4.4 percent higher at Rs 192.90. It hit a low of Rs 186.45 and a high of Rs 193.10 in trade on Wednesday.

The company, which launched Scooty Zest 110 priced at Rs 42,300 (ex-showroom Delhi), is now planning to introduce few more new products, including a completely new Apache bike in the next 6-9 months, stated the report.

"Our market share last year stood at 12 percent. Currently, it is around 13.5 percent. By the end of this year we expect it to touch 14-14.5 percent and in the next two years it should be around 18 percent," TVS Motor Company vice-president (Sales) JS Srinivasan, said.

The Indian two-wheeler industry stood at over 50 lakh units in the April-July period of this fiscal.
