New Delhi: Police on Wednesday rescued twenty-five children working in rice export units in Alipur and three employees in this connection.

All children are below the age of 15.

The joint operation was led by state police and officials from labour department and activists of NGO Bachpan Bachao Andolan.

They were trafficked by local agents from the villages of Bihar and UP and were engaged in the rice export unit wherein they used to stitch bags for storage.
