Tap on a post and you'll see article previews or media without losing your place in the social stream. There's also a new home screen widget, multi-app viewing support and an illustrator tool for hand-drawn artwork.  

The app for Android tablets is available only on Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1-2014 Edition. However according to the blog post, it will roll out to other Android tablets by the end of the year. Those with the
Note will not only get early access to the app, but will also have the chance to try out some additional features that Twitter build specifically for Samsung's tablet.

This isn't the first time that Samsung has nailed an exclusive app debut for Android: last year, Flipboard launched its long awaited Android app on the Galaxy S3 smartphone before making it widely available a few weeks later.
