Noida: Owing to the poor strategy of UP police, two accused of the Bhatta-Parsaul violence managed to escape from right under their nose.

In search of the two absconders - who carry a cash reward for their arrest, the police team conducted a raid in Delhi on Friday night.

However, the lack of planning by the police team was clearly visible as they did not even care to surround the hideout where the two absconding persons were stationed. After the futile exercise, the police team is now busy in chalking out new plans to catch the culprits.

Through surveillance Noida police got the information about – Neeraj Malik and Kiranpal, carrying cash rewards of Rs 15000 and Rs 10,000 on their head respectively, hiding in their kin’s place near Kadkadduma along Delhi-Loni Border. Following the information, the heavy police force reached the hideout, where the two were sleeping on the top floor.

Without surrounding the house completely, the cops split in two teams to reach to the terrace.

One of the teams took to stairs while the other team tried reaching the terrace directly. Alarmed over the knock of the door, the accused jumped from the terrace and managed to escape easily.

Gearing up for Jantar-Mantar protest

The police team questioned the relatives of the accused persons about the absconders. They told that the accused were not under any fear of the police and are gearing up for the protest at Jantar Mantar on May 28. The relatives further added, “They are contacting political parties to seek their support in the protest. Farmer leader Manveer Tevatia is also likely to participate in the agitation.”
