Kolkata: Two Argentine national team players - Lisandro Lopez and Cristian Ansladi - are unlikely to travel to India for the much-anticipated friendly international against Venezuela here owing to injuries.

French league team Lyon captain Lopez was stretchered off after suffering an ankle injury in his team's 2-1 win over Montpellier on Saturday.

Ansladi, who plays for Russian club Rubin Kazan, is also learnt to have suffered an injury, leaving his availability for the September 2 match in doubt.

The left-back Ansaldi was earlier sidelined for three weeks after suffering an injury.

Both were part of national coach Alejandro Sabella's squad for the friendly match, which will also see the brilliant Lionel Messi in action.

Sabella is arriving here on Monday, while Messi will touch down with his Barcelona teammate Javier Mascherano late on Tuesday night.
