Biharsharif: Two smugglers were arrested from Jebipur roundabout in Bihar's Nalanda district, a police officer said on Sunday.

One quintal ganja, valued at rupees six lakh, was recovered from their possession.

During routine checking of vehicles, the police intercepted a fourwheeler without number plate last night and seized the contraband and arrested the two smugglers, identified as Md. Rustam and Md. Nisar, Superintendent of Police Nishant Kumar Tiwary said on Sunday.

The contraband smugglers, natives of Jharkhand's Dhanbad district, were going to deliver the consignment of contraband, to a client in Odisha, he said.
