Pratapgarh: Taking a potshot on the BSP and SP for playing up with weaker section of society, BJP firebrand Uma Bharti during a public meeting at Kodur on Sunday assured backward class and Dalits of providing them their rights.

The Congress and Samajwadi Party play Dalit card during polls and leave their promises unfulfilled after voting, she said and added that the BJP will help them get their due rights.

Uma said, “The opponents are spreading rumours that the BJP is heading for an alliance with BSP to form the government in the state, but it is absolutely rubbish, the party is fighting the elections on its own and will form its own government. Even if the BJP does not make it, the party will sit in the Opposition but never make alliance.”

Present on the dais for few minutes, Uma mocked Sonia Gandhi’s shedding tears while seeing the Batla House encounter pictures and also criticized Khurshid.

Attacking Digvijay Singh she said, “The Congress was defeated in Madhya Pradesh and it will meet the same fate in Uttar Pradesh.”
