Sehore (MP): Alleging that the frost-affected farmers from MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s home district have not received the compensation, former BJP leader Uma Bharti threatened to stage a protest at the District Collectorate.

Addressing a Kisan Adalat organised at Khandwa village near Shyampur town, Bharti said that Chouhan himself announced that frost-affected farmers would get compensation within 15 days, but till date they have not received any relief.

"If this is the situation in the Chief Minister's home district, Sehore, then what will be the scene at other places can easily be imagined," added Uma Bharti.

Bharti warned that if the farmers did not get the compensation by April 5, she would surround the District Collectorate on the issue adding that her struggle for farmers would continue till the agriculture was made a profitable venture.
