Gold medal winner of 1500-meter race, Abdellatif Baka of Algeria, crossed the finish line in 3 minutes and 48.29 seconds which happens to be 1.7 seconds more in comparison to Olympics gold medallist Matthew Centrowitz of United States of America.

What's more, the para-athletes on second, third, and fourth places also outperformed Centrowitz with a timing of 3 minutes and 48.49 seconds, 3 minutes and 49.59 seconds, and 3 minutes and 49.84 seconds respectively.
