Ambala: Rubbishing the Opposition's charge that Haryana's development had remained confined to limited pockets under his tenure, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Monday said that development is taking place all across the state and no area has remained neglected.

Hooda told reporters here that the allegations of neglecting particular areas in development were "baseless and politically motivated and the development works in all areas were in progress on war footing."

Opposition parties including INLD and HJC have in the past accused Hooda government of indulging in regional bias while carrying out the development works.

Asked to comment on some differences reportedly cropping up between HJC and BJP, the Chief Minister said that he concentrates only on the development of the State and whatever the opposition or their alliance were doing, he has nothing to do with this.

Also, he added, saying has no time to think about such issues (which are internal matter of HJC and BJP). Replying to a query about factionalism within BJP on the issue of declaring prime ministerial candidate for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Hooda said that it was an internal matter of BJP and he has nothing to do with this.

To another query, he said that Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi was fully capable of leading the country and the youth have full faith in his personality and thinking.

"The youth of the country are extending full support to the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and the Congress which is the most empowered political party has become further strengthened under his able leadership," he said.
