5. Sole producer of titanium sponge: Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd (KMML) is the only producer and supplier of titanium sponge in India. The Titanium sponge plant fulfils Defence Ministry's and Department of Space's requirement  and has recorded a 94.5 percent rise in quarterly rise.
