Lucknow: The forthcoming monsoon session of Uttar Pradesh Assembly scheduled to start from August 5 would witness a major uproar as the ruling as well as the Opposition parties will unfurl a string of allegations and counter allegations at each other.

While the Opposition believes that Bhatta Parsaul case, Moradabad violence, NRHM scam, CMO murder case and inflation are among the trump cards to target the state government, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati held a meeting at her residence with State Minister and officials to make their preparations for the monsoon session.

Mawayati on Thursday directed party legislator to do their “full homework” on issues of land acquisition, corruption and price rise which are expected to dominate the assembly proceedings.

Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly, Shivpal Singh Yadav said, “The twin murders of CMOs in Lucknow prove the deteriorating law and order condition of state. The public representatives of the BSP are harassing the common people.”

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Legislature Party leader Om Prakash Singh said the party will seek reply from government over the deteriorating law and order condition and alleged politician-criminal nexus.

Congress Legislature Party leader Pramod Tiwari said, “There is a complete chaos in the state. The party will raise the issue of public problem in the Assembly.”
