Lucknow: In what could give a big jolt to the Mayawati government, state Cabinet minister  Chandra Dev Ram Yadav is likely to face the fire of Lokayukata for drawing salaries simultaneously for holding two posts.

Yadav has accepted in his statement given to Lokayukta that he was drawing the salary of headmaster of a government-aided school since 2006, but it was a mistake. In reply to the notice issued against him by the Lokayukta in this regard, he assured on Monday that he would return the entire amount that has been drawn by him so far for serving as a headmaster.

Rebutting another allegation of holding many weapons, Yadav said that he has got a big family, so it is necessary to have many weapons for security reasons.

Seeking some more time from the Lokayukta, he has assured of presenting detailed information of his net assets. Sources say that, Azamgarh’s Indrasen Singh, Jai Prakash Singh and Radheshaym Singh have independently complained against Yadav.
