Bhopal: Boosting the moral of members, Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Rita Bahuguna Joshi on Thursday said that after securing a thumping victory in UP Assembly polls, the party will shift its entire attention to Madhya Pradesh elections scheduled in 2013.

Joshi visited Bhopal to attend the oath taking ceremony of the newly appointed Governor Ram Naresh Yadav. Joshi claimed that both UP and MP are extremely important for Congress.

She said, “Congress members should serve the people rather than thinking about returning to power. With the public support, we will topple the Bharatiya Janata Party government in MP.”

UP Congress chief also praised the Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh for strengthening the party in MP.
