Greater Noida: Even though Greater Noida is all set to play host to country's first Formula One Grand Prix in October, the state police are still in an obfuscated condition over the security arrangements. A string of VVIPs, prominent sport personalities and renowned people are expected to arrive at the venue to watch this event for the first time in India.

Albeit, the UP police have not yet received any official information or security requirement for the event organisers J P Sports International. Subsequently, the police department is unable to come up with any final strategy for the securities at venue during the games.

However, an official of JPSI said that the organisers themselves are making security arrangements for the event. The responsibility for security arrangements has been assigned under former Delhi police officer, he added.

F1 races will be held between October 28 and October30 on the Buddh International Circuit of Greater Noida.
